Railway 200
The 200th anniversary of the Railways in Great Britain was celebrated in 2025. Supported by Hampshire Community Rail and the Railway200 project, the RCHH created information posters outlining the history of the village. These are on display along both platforms of Rowlands Castle Station. Designed by William Tite and built by Thomas Brassey, our station opened in 1859 and is a Grade 2 listed building. More information on the national Railway200 Project is available here.
