Heritage Trails

The trails are designed to be accessed on a mobile or tablet as you walk around the selected trail. Each heritage trail has a series of numbered ‘stops’ which will provide historical bullet points about the location. There will be links to more information and a gallery of photos, plus a link to the next stop, or back to the map. At the end of the trails are suggestions for further reading. You may wish to use the what3words app to help you find the precise location of each stop. We hope you enjoy the trails and finding out more about the village and surrounding areas.

We are grateful to Charlie Shawcross and Paul Marshman for their hard work in initiating and researching these trails. We would be very grateful for any comments, including corrections, further information, or photographs. Please send any comments to trails@rowlandscastleheritagecentre.org.uk
